Can't drag in images anymore

I just upgraded to .10 and I can no longer drag images into my existing project or any new projects. Can I revert back to the previous version? Has anyone else experienced this? I have a critical deadline coming up and I am at a standstill now. Thanks.

    Hi @Attila, yes, dragging in images and sounds is disabled in 0.10 unfortunately.... we all miss it.... but hey, that won't stop you from carrying on with your project – (no need to downgrade GSC) - just use the + button and get your images in that way.

    Thanks gyroscope. I have been spoiled with the drag option and wasn't aware of that option. Huge sigh of relief here. LOL

    Glad it "saved the day" :-)

  • I'm a game salad newbie, trying to get things figured out and this is confusing me. I press the plus button in the actor menu and it just gives me the blank "Actor 1" generic actor. It won't let me import anything using this method. When I double click the actor the only way I can see to upload my image to game salad is the section on the screen where it says "Drag image here" and that obviously isn't working either. Am I just overlooking something?

    @DrPatrickBateman

    Hi Patrick, there is more than one type of plus sign; the one you are referring to is for making new blank actors in the Inspector (as you've discovered).

    For importing images, first click on the tab marked "Images" in the library section and then you'll see the plus sign relevant to importing images, at the bottom.

    Similarly, by clicking the Sounds tab, you'll see its plus sign.

    Best of luck with GSC, keep going, and I'm certain it'll all fall into place for you sooner than you think. :-)
