iOS 6 runs slower on iPhone 3Gs

Have just updated my 3Gs to iOS 6 and it runs apps noticeably slower than before. There are big delays on loading my GS developed apps when they are loaded at the beginning.

No doubt it is time to upgrade. I really hope the next update to GS will support iOS 6!
