Kindle Fire / Fire HD audio performance?

I wonder if anyone's gotten their hand on these new kindle. From my understand we've had audio lag issues from the past mainly due to the lower version android device and also the mediocre performance of kindle. If any one of you has gotten the new device could you confirm that if the audio performance has improved ? lag? near no lag?
