UI Graphics Question (noob here)

Hello,
I'm having a game designed and developed and had a question about animating the UI.
If I have a Timer that looks like a Dial Clock and I need it to countdown from 60 seconds to zero.
Do I have to create 60 different images of the clock, one image for each second?
Or is there a better way to give the illusion of a clock counting down.
Sorry if it's unclear, just trying to work out some details.

I want to have this image countdown from 80 to zero, each increment represents 1 second.
