How do I publish an adhoc for Android Tablet?

Hi!
I did a quick search and couldn't find how to do this:
My partner has a Nook she has "jailbreaked" and is running android on it. I would like to run an adhoc version of our game, but not sure how to do it. I downloaded the Android "apk" and ran all the parts, I think, but now when she runs the installation, it won't work. Any ideas?
