Testing on Iphone via TestFlight or Purchase own Iphone

Hi,

I've already tested on my Ipod, but now I would like to test on Iphone, even though I don't have one. Now, my question is, should I test via TestFlight, since a friend of mine has an Iphone, or should I purchase an Iphone ( ios4 - minimum)? Does anyone know of a place where used Iphones can be purchased, or does Apple sell used Iphones for testing purposes ( no contract involved ). Would appreciate any feedback....Thanks and God Bless....

Hi Sunday,

I think it depends on how far your are into your game: if your almost done and are just testing and putting the final touches on the game, I would just use TestFlight on your friends iPhone. However, if your just starting your game and you might be working on it for a while, I would start saving for an iPhone and purchase when your ready for testing.

I think eventually you'll need one, as it's important to test on as many devices as possible.

Thanks for the quick response, really appreciated it.....Actually, I'm almost finish with the game, 1 more level. I've tested on my Ipod and on the viewer for Mac, but it's not the same, as an actual Iphone. Would you know of any Apple Dealer that sells Iphones for Testing purposes.....?
