Problems with ios Provisioning

Around the 2:05 mark he says to download the provisioning file I just created. The file is unrecognizable and does not have a program assigned to it, nor does the folder (shown around 2:15) open.

Has anyone completed this process?

I have and you need to have downloaded and installed XCode which you will later need to upload your app onto the AppStore. It's around 5gb so get ready for a loooong ride

I can't find an earlier version of Xcode because the newly released Xcode 4.4 won't run on my mac
