Change Attribute Bug

I have three "game.attributes", all integer, and one "game.attribute" text, I am adding two of the integers into a third for the total, and then I am using four change attributes to move the proper letter into the "Game.attribute" text depending on the values in integer summary.
It works if every other change attribute uses quote marks around the letter.
What is up with that? Anyone know why half the change attributes work as planned and half do not?
