Testing game on personal iOS device

I am aware that you need an Apple Developer License ($99), but I would appreciate if someone could detail the steps of putting it on my iphone before I spend the money. Last thing I want to do is purchase a dev license and not use all of its features.

    Sorry, but Apple doesn't allow you to put your own apps on your device without a developer account.

    In order to test on iOS, you need to build an Adhoc. To do that, you have to be a registered Apple developer, with a Mac and Xcode installed.
