iOS Review times

Anyone else experiencing very long review times by Apple?

After getting used to 4-6 days of waiting for review, recently I keep seeing 8-11 days wait time. Anyone else noticed that?

    As the year progresses, review times generally get longer.
    Then, once they come back from after their Christmas break, they go back to being pretty short again, and get longer throughout the year.

    Tis the same every year it seems.

    I am waiting 10 days for my update,, Id say it's just holiday season and they are short on staff..
    2 week holidays and these are usually taken in July and August.. Well here anyway.. European apple HQ is in Ireland.. Actually does an update result in a bumb in downloads does anyone know?

    iPhone games are going to take longer to get on the App Store now because they are focusing on getting all the Retina Display Mac Apps reviewed before Mountain Lion comes out any day now.
