@fadamion hey, I left a review if you could check out my new game and do the same.. I wrote "Great game loads of fun!!" and gave 5 stars.. I don't know if the review has gone through as there is no indication of this. If not I can try again.. my game is below..

    Nice game btw... :)

@TechNoir So how many stars again... One more time? :P

Seriously though, rate a game like a review don't, pad it. It makes the review system pointelss and... most certainly don't ask others do do for the same. Not cool. Earn your stars with satisfaction (and experiening the game as whole).

@RP I think it is cool, I don't see the problem with trading ratings, it makes sense to me at an early stage.. especially if you can pick up enough ratings to give an average while your game is still on the first page of release date.. I agree you overall you should earn your stars.. and you will overtime, there will be no getting away from the truth about your game.. but at the start every little helps.. if you don't agree that's fine, no big deal.. :)

I have made an edit to my message I didn't mean to come across as imposing a five star review on my game,, @fadamion can write whatever he wants..

    cheers,

What software is best for creating the short movie intro where you're moving thru the jungle?

I image it was either Apple Motion, Adobe After Effects or even cinema 4d.

After Effects and I did not ask for good reviews. I will not be giving fake reviews. I simply asked for review for review. He gave a five star cuz its that good. And thank you guys.

Also here is a bit about reviews everyone should know. I have an app with over a million active sessions, 10000 active users the fact is is there are a crap load that love it. We have a hardcore crowd that use that app weekly, but they are not the ones who rate. It seems as if the other 1% haters, are rate happy.

Sorry to hijack your thread but justy observation with the ratings. To get ratings your game has to be one of two things. Really freaking good or really freaking bad. You don't get ratings mediocre game. Or even really the fairly good games so keep that in mind the next time your thought is you should have more reviews.

I've played the game and it's not bad. But I'm not really sure what makes it a game that really shows what gamesalad can do. Sorry I just don't see where it pushes the envelope

@tenrdrmer I agree great art and funny concept but that has nothing to do with GS. I think it's just that many people around here make some serious junk and that might be kinda what he meant. Heck much of what is being produced around here lately seems like reconstituted templates. There have been a handful of pretty cool well done games as of late but the majority I find unoriginal and lacking polish.

@tenrdrmer Ok fair enough. Well you tell me in your opinion is this pushing gamesalad?

There are 40.8mbs worth totaling 1643 images about half are 64x64 character animation. All images have been ran on ImageOptim. All retina.

3 songs and 20 sound effects.

I have 17 characters all running very heavy ai code. They chase, run away, stop, and have health.
I have 20 characters on each level.

    I also removed all timers.

I have 3 game levels each one map is made up of (6) 1024x1024 backgrounds so its like 3072x3072.

    quote from Teeshirt booth
"WOW ... ya that is a lot of images. just the 6 1024x1024 images alone on each scene is a lot of ram. Add that with all the other stuff and it could get crazy."
