Well, I know rolling out the first game would be painful but sheesh. Managed to peak at 1400 downloads on day 3, then all it's been all down hill from there once it fell off the ranking charts in its categories and in the newly released listings. Is this the normal mode folks have seen? I figured I could coast it at least a week or so before it went down so low.

Only upside is that this first week or so was consider the "soft launch" to let it get out there and find any glitches that may have turned up with a bigger testing sample. Next week I'm getting out 2k postcards at Comic Con (woo hoo to going to SDCC, but lowered expectations on how many folks it will actually snag), and will start submitting it to app review sites. Still, wondering if the marketing piece is almost insurmountable with no budget.
