••OneilApps : Whats Coming?••

Well, iv not said anything about any apps I'm working on. I just want to show you what I'm working on.

The first, is "Deep Swim 2". The first "Deep Swim" was my first app, it was terrible, it has bad reviews, i learned from that. Somehow, it has been my most popular app, getting in some overall rankings. So i decided to make a number 2, with BIG improvements. Here are some screenshots of what i have (i only started work on this 2 days ago, some graphics are getting changed, they are from the old one but still in this until i replace them).
Since i only just stared work, you can see that the enemies and character are still the same. But i did add a jellyfish, a new character!

The troubles i had getting a screenshot of that..
There is loads to be done to it, such as power-ups and a oxygen bar. So you can see that is still in early stages. I'll post an update for it when its got many more features.

Next we have another game, i call it, Boom! I'll show some screens then tell you more.

So, you have a set amount of time to collect all the stars. Simple? It is a star based game. For this all i need to do is add some more features for another levels and create the levels. The main game is finished.

So, any thoughts?

    Come on now...

    Why not be original. Its clear what you did here. You even put boom in the name.

    My game is different, you don't drag round the bomb in mine?

    With the actual gameplay it is not the same. I did not copy his game.
    Just do us all a favor and take this down buddy. We don't want to rip on you, but you took Tshirtbooths game. Not cool...

    Its just a Template TSB sold on the marketplace. Grabbing the name and art style is not the most ethical thing to do but what can you really do? Nothing. its the nature of the business and it really sucks when its done to you.

    Yes, i did use the core controls template that i got off his site.
    The art style, this is a common style isn't it? The background is different, the main colour is different. Its not just a TSB template, i have added things in.

    People have done it to me, and i have not done it to him, shall we wait to see if he thinks i have copied his game?

    Also i did not take his name, i was not aware he is calling his Boom, i did not think he had named his.
    Boom is quite a common word used when there is a bomb in the game.

    Yeah the screenshots just made it look like a very different game then I had originally thought. For future reference, if you make a game that looks very similar to another one, I would include a gameplay video with the screenshots. That would have saved all of this from happening. Good luck.

    Just my personal opinion... but I mean... its not like its TShirts concept even if he made a game just like it...

    TShirt himself said he gets his ideas from Flash games all the time... a GREAT way to get concepts... If ya wanna rag him about anything... do the art... which is KINDA a stretch cause the blocks are the closest thing to match... and the Name? Blame that on unoriginality... But don't hop on this guy before he proved his concept was different... cause he should be supported just as much as the next guy even if the concept was the same.

    Me personally when it comes to making games like other people... I have actually recreated 4-5 of my favorite GameSalad games concept for concept to further my learning experience... Am I gonna release them? Prolly not... but its a great idea to better yourself with the software!

    I find it rude and annoying when people jump to conclusions about copying. It was even done to me on my "Introduction" thread here! Yes, copying is a real problem in the GS community, but come on...

    @JamieOneil Yeah, when you post your idea before its published, then you regret even starting. EVERYBODY- Can we agree that there is a lot of games out there that have you launching balls to get stars. Can we also agree that Tshirtbooth wasn't the first one to do this(I'm not criticizing.). There are a lot of games out there and saying that a plat former ripped off another one, is stupid.

    Can we stop Trading one bandwagon for the Next. First every post is how horrible and now every post is how he's such a victim and everyone is just being so mean. If you thought that when everyone was jumping on him then you should have stood up in his defense then.

    I'm closing This Thread. @jamieOneal Feel free to repost your thread with all the videos and stuff to so it doesn't just start over again.
