My very first app, TEETHING is out now on the iTunes store.
I'm super excited, and have to thank this community, because without you guys my game would be so much less.

Push your reflexes to the limit as you weave your tooth in-between falling sweets. Getting hit by your sugary foes will cause you to dissolve, but don't worry, toothpaste will restore your health!
Collect power ups from the tooth fairy to slow down time, turn sweets into coins, shrink down to a baby tooth or become invincible! Every sweet avoided is a coin that can be spent on a range of fabulous and eccentric moustaches.
Avoid cavities and a trip to the dentist with this 8 bit throwback to the games of the past!

I tried to leave a 5 star written review, but I never knew Apple is now preventing Promo code users from leaving reviews... so sorry about that.. what I was going to say was..
"Super fun game with cool retro graphics and music" Just so you know :P
Best of luck!
Good to see this quality coming from the uk crowd..... best of luck in sales!
Any suggestions for what websites I should hound/submit my game to so I can get the word out?
FaceBook, Twitter, and YouTube are a must. TouchArcade is also a popular choice around here to post about your app. Hope this helps..
Cheers
Anyone got any other ideas? I would be over the moon if it sold 141 units so I could pay off the Apple developer fee, but reigned in my expectations and thought 50 sales on the first day would be ok.
TEETHING sold a lacklustre 30 units. Pretty depressing.
I did get onto the Guardian website in their Apps Rush feature, but alas it didn't seem to do much.
Still pretty cool though: http://www.guardian.co.uk/technology/appsblog/2012/jul/02/apps-rush-uber-google-analytics
