    Hard to tell without seeing screens from your game. Does it flow with the theme and/or artistic style throughout the game? Other buttons, GUI etc.

    @TheMoonwalls no not yet, but there will be soon :) And yes the game is in the same style, sorry if this poll might be a quite unnecessary but I just wanted to know what you thought about the start menu layout.

    A few points that I hope will help:
    1. Credits is overlapping and too dominant .... the player wants to Start so it should be the focus.
    2. The viewing angle and perspective is different in each button ... Start button you can see the left side, Credits you see the bottom but no side. Make them the same.
    3. The buttons are larger on the left and smaller on the right. If that is intended to fake perspective then the text should also be larger on the left smaller on the right

    Thats just a couple buttons. Not a game menu. Let us see the whole thing and we can give you a much better opinion.

    Apart from how we don't have a clue at the actual full menu, there is a lot more than just art.

    I'm not an artist, trust me, but I don't even use art. I use movement effects, animations, and other assets, too.

    That would depend on the game... might be nice for some games and insufficient for others.
