Hey guys,

Well, I believe it's time to announce Knight's K'west!
This will be my next game - it's a short, endless game but loads of fun!
I haven't completed it yet, although I am rather close.
@SpriteAttack is the artist, a big thanks to him!

I will be posting video footage as well as more pictures.

    Looking forward to the video. I like the knight design in the pic, is that the same in game design as well?

    Wow, can't wait to see this come out! Can you tell us a bit about what the objective is? Is it a plat former medieval themed?That would be my guess, but so far, this looks very interesting!

    @BazookaTima - Yes, it is the same design in the game.

    @etzer - I'm going to leave you hanging. Check back every now and then - I'll be posting more information and video.

    And another preview.

    This has been done in gamesalad before, but I wanted to give it a good twist and make my own version.

    The point of the game is to try and get the knight's from the left side of the screen, to the right side without them falling into the mud. You move your paddle in the center of the screen to do so. If they fall into the mud, they sink and you lose a life. When you get further in this endless game, bombs and arrows will start to spawn. You must dodge these or else you lose a life (if you hit an arrow) or it's game over(When you hit a bomb). There are also going to be power ups, like adding 200 points to your score etc. It really adds some extra fun to the game to have to dodge/try and get these and still get the knights.

    DBA has a template, but I didn't use it, I created this on my own. However the template did inspire me.

    This will be going up on the Arcade when it's completed.

    Ah, It is one of those bouncy game thingies. I notice the arrows and stuff falling down. It seems strategic although I am not sure how they will be avoidable. Sorry if I am over thinking this, and what ever you do, I am sure you will pull it off!

    @etzer - I quickly put this together in Photoshop so you could see everything. There will never be 3 arrows and a bomb at the same time, that would be impossible.

    Ah, I understand. However, is there, by any chance at any point a place where you automatically lose a guy? With those types of games, each separate guy is uncontrollable, and the arrows don't seem like you could try to avoid them or even try to get hit by one. I don't know. Still looks great!

    @etzer - Not sure what you mean.

    The arrow and bombs have to hit your paddle, not your knights.
    Each knight has it's own speed, so it's different every time.
    The hard part is finding a good place (when and in what situations) to throw some arrows and or bombs in there.

    I think it'll be easier for you all to understand when you see the video.

    Ok, very cool!

    Also, the knights are going east, shouldn't it be Knight's K'East? Well, from this perspective, who knows, though, The game player could be facing the screen southward. Sorry if you don't understand that, just a little pun I noticed. :D

    Haha, it's not about "West"

    It's about "Knight's Quest"

    I have two other apps out right now, Penguin Pounce and Frozen Finder...Get the picture?
    Knight's K'west seemed like a good choice to keep the theme running.

    Man... I don't know about this one. How can you tell if the knight is blinking if the mask is all over his face?

    Sorry that I haven't been able to get a video up, it has tons of lag when replaying the video.
    I'm still looking for a better screen recorder.

    Screen Record STD is a good, cheap, HD video recorder for I think 6.99$, and it doesn't lag at all for me, hopefully this helps

    Sorry for the delay for the video guys, I think what I'm going to have to do is create the video on a different Mac as mine is too slow. :P
