Subcategories handle new and noteworthy separately. Subcategory N&N does exactly nothing.

Only Main category and appstore N&N is visible on the phone, therefore the sale boost.

In subcategory N&N you stay as long as your downloads have a certain avarage. You can get in and drop out any time.

In N&N on the main category page we got from rank 200+ to 49 in all games and to 14 in the subcategory.

We are now in What's Hot and it doesn't help anything. Angry Birds got featured in What's Hot and it went there where it is now. So your game has to be a good one too, but I believe, the What's Hot category is helpful only in a few cases.

N&N and maybe "What we are playing" are the two, which can help you.

N&N in main category is for one week. What's Hot probably too. Sales don't affect it if you stay in or not.

I was under the impression that this was supposed to be where you announce a main page or main games page N&N. Lately, everyone of my games has been listed in one of the subcategory N&Ns and it hasn't really done anything for sales.

I think it is exciting to see GS games in the main featured section or the games section so I like this thread but it should not be watered down with subcategory N&N.

Just my opinion

Here's a question. Where can you find these sub-category New & Noteworthy listings? My newest game is N&N in the Racing genre, but I can't seem to find it anywhere? When you click on the subgenre it shows a 'What's Hot' and Newly Released.

Could be the reason why it doesn't effect sales any.
