When will GameSalad Creator be released for Windows XP?

I'm taking a class that teaches you techniques in GameSalad, but they use Macintoshs and I have Windows XP. I signed up for beta and I got the download, installed it and got an error report. I researched it a bit and found out it's only for Windows Vista and Windows 7. I'm just wondering when it will be released for Windows XP. Could anybody tell me when? It'll kind of ruin the point of takings this $150 class. Thanks!

I'm sorry, this is a repost. I accidentally flagged a comment as answer because I didn't really know what it means. Remember I'm a noob ;)! There's a 99% chance that it won't work on Windows XP. Just update your OS to Vista, or 7 - it will be much faster, than waiting for a miracle, and XP version.

yeah i also don't see why they would. I cant imagine a reason a serious dev would still be using xp. (ha some of the computers here at the game co i work at are still xp, but they are slowly transitioning everyone to new win 7 machines.. but 200 computers is a big upgrade.) but ya. move to win 7

I use Windows XP and I want to install more than 65% of pc's have win xp installed on them no one wants to update, I am one of them, Game Salad says they are going to improve compatibility with xp.

@EricChen well enjoy your stuff not being supported well. I'm sure all the win 95 and ME users are having similar troubles.

Yeah, XP is not supported at all. Where did you read that they were going to improve compatibility with it?

current market share of winXP put's it at about 23%, windows7 is 34%. Microsoft formally ended support for XP over 2 years ago. I think it's time to upgrade

yeah I dont expect XP support ever. I know the Q&A thing says they want to add it but why would they. Its an old OS and they are already dropping Snowleopard support in the next mac update and it is by far not an outdated OS. Apple is just dropping support so they will too.

Or Windows 8. :) if you don't want to update, then get a new computer.
