Images Importing Smaller than they are ????? HELP

I have got images that are 320-480 but recently been having problems when dragging them in gamesalad, They all come in so small, so not the right sizes, and when i try and make them bigger the distort.
Any Help please

    Sounds like your images and not set to 72 pixels per inch. Check that.
