Question about non explicit App IDs and Gamecenter

Apple says "Note: Only explicit App IDs can be used to access the Game Center service. Please use an existing App ID with a specific Bundle Identifier or create a new one., this means that app ids using wildcards like E5UF233EPY.* won't work with gamecenter.
Well. I discoverd, that's not true.
Today I "discoverd" that my game Shoot the Fruit Archery Game, that has gamecenter enabled and working, uses an app id like that.
Now I'm in doubt about what should I do to update the game.
I created another appid. Let's see if it will work.
