Microsoft Office images usage???

Hi there!

I have been looking through Microsoft office's image database (http://office.microsoft.com/en-gb/images/?CTT=97)
And so wondered whether I could use one of the images in an app

I checked out this page which seemed to imply I could (http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/powerpoint-help/what-uses-of-photos-clip-art-and-font-images-are-prohibited-HP003090087.aspx)
But had this in it as well:

You must include a valid copyright notice on your products and services that include copies of the Media Elements.

What does it mean??? Do I have to include a link in credits or a (C) sign or something???

Many thanks

Max

Using it breaks pretty much all of them I think.

You may not sell, license or distribute copies of the Media Elements on a stand-alone basis or as part of any collection, product or service where the primary value of the product or service are the Media Elements.

If it's a character or whatever in your game, it probably falls under that.

Using clip-art will look unprofessional anyway.

    Thanks ace

But if you think using clipart is unprofessional, what would you suggest to do for someone who is ok with editing photos but not making them???

    Cheers

Ideally I would, but for my first game I really want to keep costs to a minimum and see what sort of response I get then invest more...are there not any semi/professional royalty free image websites out there???

Ace, thinking bout it I'm sure an image for a character wouldn't count as the PRIMARY value of the product, that surely must lie with the game idea and its execution???
