For anyone that's looking for a more affordable alternative to Illustrator and CorelDraw should check out Sketch 2 from Bohemian Coding. I recently downloaded a trial from their website and after hours of using it am positively hooked.
I am seriously considering shifting a large portion of my vector art workflow to this program. After evaluating its feature set it was clear to me that just about everyone here would benefit greatly from Sketch 2. It's far more affordable than Illustrator and holds many advantages over Inkscape, chief of which it being a native 64-bit cocoa app, making it run as smooth as silk.
I'm not advertising nor work for the developers, just expressing my enthusiasm. You can buy it on the Mac App Store, but I definitely recommend downloading the trial first. I may consider doing some tutorials at some point if there is sufficient interest.

Sounds cool, but since I am still a beginner with vector art, I will be sticking to Inkscape. Nice find.
