Beautiful art work, what software do you use to create the animations?

you don't need a true of false if you cover all hours within the day.
the rules go inside every actor you want effected by time. lets say you have 2 times of day

rule one "Day"
if game clock is greater then 12am
if game clock is less then 5pm

rule two "Night"
if game clock is greater then 5pm
if game clock is less then 12am

then you put in the attributes you want to effect.
for objects I just adjusted their
RGB color levels.

Looks really good! Does it have a Lemmings-esque feel to the game?

@Kris Thanks! In some ways it is, some of the Pirates have skills which you can trigger as they are navigating the levels in order to get more gold, but the real puzzle factor is in building the bridges, it was tricky trying to come up with increasing difficulty at a good pace for all types of gamers, I'll find out on the 27th I guess
