Thanks! We're glad to be back working on it. Much happier with the overall design and direction. We are going to start working on a few different mechanic demos over the next month or two to try and nail down how this game will be played.
The updated design process was slow and deliberate this time around. Focusing more on character personality and quick character recognition by utilizing both specific silhouettes and colors. Basically wanting the player to know what character is what without needing any time to think about it.
We still have a ways to go to make sure the actual game mechanics is fun, fresh, and full of enough variety while also maintaining the core, self-sacrifice, game play strategy.
It's going to be a long road but it'll be worth it to produce a studio quality game to put out to market.
We also plan to produce a few short animated toons featuring the characters ahead of the game to show off who they are and what they do in an entertaining way. Should be a lot of fun!

Ha ha ha! @Benjamin_m5 don't worry. It's happening this year. We are focusing on mainly this. We've established a timeline and we're ~60% done creating assets already. Once we get to around 80% assets completion we'll produce and release a animated short teaser trailer.
