will games published for the iphone work on ipod touch?

Hello all,
I'm pretty sure the answer is yes, but just to make certain before I buy one- will gamesalad games published for the iphone work on the ipod touch [and work the same way, i.e. controls will be equivalent etc.]?

    Yeah, they do. Although first gen touches (and first gen iphones) perform not as well as compared to newer gen touches/iphones.

    It comes in handy to have one of each gen to test on.
