Downloading Provisioning profile

NmdogdudeNmdogdude Member Posts: 174
I created a Provisioning profile and I'm trying to open it in Xcode(dragging it into xcode from desktop) I get an error message "You don't have permission to save the file "Mobile device" in the folder "Library".
To view/change permissions, select the item in the Finder and choose File>get info.

I went to my permissions for the downloaded file, and made myself the only one with READ&WRITE access, but I still get this error message
Is anyone else experiencing this issue?

I created new provisioning profiles, deleted the old ones, and I'm still getting the error "the folder 'Provisioning Profiles' doesn't exist.", then I click OK, then another window appears saying "No Provisioning Profiles found" A provisioning profile w/ matching developer identity is required to publish iphone games, then I click OK again. Then it takes me to the Gamesalad cookbook on www.gamesalad.com

Did you drag your provisioning profiles into Xcode?

Yeah I tried, but I got an error "you don't have permission to save the file "Mobile Device" in the folder "Library" To view or change permissions, select the item in the Finder and choose File>Getinfo.
Under Permission/Getinfo menu I have it set to open w/ Xcode, and have it set so I'm the only account that can read&write this file

Ok, so I downloaded the profiles and they're in my Downloads folder but I'm still getting that same error & it won't let me open them in Xcode.
