Development: Magical Unicorn (game for young girls)

I'm working on my first Gamesalad game -- it's called Magical Unicorn, and it's a game for young girls (4-7). The game is inspired by my 6 year old daughter; she likes to play games, but gets easily frustrated. She also doesn't like games that have violence. There really aren't very many good games targeted towards young girls, so I'm taking a crack at it.
Magical Unicorn is a platformer; the premise is that the princess has been kidnapped by a mean sorcerer, and the Unicorn must make her way past enemies and puzzles to reach and save the princess. The enemies are more cartoony than scary, and when the Unicorn "shoots", she shoots hearts that turn the enemies into rabbits.
There is no death in the game either; only things that remove points from the score or impede the Unicorn's progress until she figures out a puzzle.
I am just about done with the graphics for the first level; right now I'm working on the animations. I thought I had a great animation sequence for the Unicorn, but when I animated it in Gamesalad it was underwhelming... so now I'm going back and creating more frames to try to fix it.
Here are some of the graphics:
