Cant get the provisioning profile to work, please help!

To be honest, this step has alluded me and I have tried everything and I always get the stupid yellow bar saying it can find the right key or certificate in Keychain

Would someone be willing to give me the step by step? I am willing to pay someone to walk me through this. I can code a game but I cant seem to get this procedure to work and am getting confused as to how all the different provisioning profiles, certificates, etc all relate to one another.

Any help will be greatly appreciated as I have tried the standard walk throughs

thanks, I had already followed that and I got the same error.
After alot of confusion and info overload for what seemed to be a straightforward process, I fixed it this way:

I had a certificate that I kept trying to work with. What no resource ever mentioned was what would happen if someone else created that certificate for you (I had contracted a programmer last year to develop an app for me and he created the certificate).

I revoked it and created a new one and deleted everything app related from Keychain and followed the steps...that is when it finally worked.
