Looks like a nice "throwback" (old school) platformer.

    Looks like fun.
If I may make one comment. I don't like the buttons much.

It looks great, but as @LudwigHeijden stated, I'm not to keen on the buttons.

Apart from that it looks Old Skewl.

    I like Old Skewl.

Love it, reminds me of "Wonderboy III", for Sega Master System, and I loved that game. The graphics are wery well done, and I think the buttons looks fine. If i was to make any comments, I don`t think the music in the trailer fits the game (but that might not be the ingame music?)

Looking foreward to see the rest.

    Great job!

Cool retro art! You just should improve the hud buttons, especially the left-right ones.

Nice work! Reminds me of Wonderboy for the Sega Master System! Great work!

PS: Realized SinSquid said the same thing, very nice throwback game!

I also think the buttons are fine, don't see what the issue is there, but if people don't like them, maybe add a suggestion on how to fix it?

Nice as always. However when he walks DOWN a slope, he floats a little.. Maybe increase the gravity?

    looks very well done!

    note "floating" as above -

also the sword swing doesn't seem to go as far down as it should?

@butterbean - I had Wonder Boy for my Spectrum 128k and played it to death! It was actually made by SEGA wasn't it?

Does the sword get heavier? It looks fairly light to me :P

Game and visuals look great although I would reconsider the control graphics. Other than that it looks stellar.

Like everyone saying, its remind me Wonder Boy III: The Dragon's Trap. Instant buy for me when its release. =)

@Mynameisace: Yes! It was a Sega game, I believe I played it for the Sega Master System awhile ago (although I never owned one), and then much later it came out for the Wii shop.. (I think...!)
