Error in Publishing

I am trying to publish my app and when I hit publish in gamesalad I end up with an error that says File couldnt be open because it is not in the correct format: The file might be corrupted, truncated, or in an unexpected format.

I am trying to get a .app file so that I can create an ipa and use test flight.
please help
