Hi all

I am trying to make my spider crawl, instead of changing the legs and saving each image, can i add bones to my spider in photoshop or any other software and save the image sequentially?

Iam intrigued in how all you folk do your animation?

Yes you can! After effects is what I use and with that you can set up parent and child objects that you can animate and then save out a sequence. You can also combine this with the puppeting feature which allows you to animated distortion of objects. This can really add to the effect.

And also, you could check out Anime Studio Debut if you liked, it's not that expensive either. It uses bones natively in it's animation processes and is relatively easy to use too.

There's a trial offer or free with TrialPlay as well.
