Change app's name

Hi guys!
I created an update for my existing game. I want to change its name with the new update. Here's what I've done:
I created new version in iTunes Connect, and typed new name under the App Name field. Then I uploaded my update (it's now waiting for review). But the app name in iTunes Connect (in App Summary) it the same as the old one.
Did I do it right, and the new name will be available after the update is accepted?

Thank you!

did you create a new app in iTunesConnect or just a new version?
(think the new version is just going to keep the old name … can't change appNames)

did you do new provisioning profiles ???
did you GS publish as a new game ???

I created new version for existing game, not a new game.

Under Manage Your Apps in iTunes Connect I have something like this:

    App's Icon
Green dot, old name, and 1.9 version
Orange dot, new name, and 2.0 version

Under App Summary I have old name, and two versions.
Under old version I have old name.
And under new version I have new name.

I see in the: iTunes Connect Developer Guide (version 7.3, January 23, 2012) 40 (that is page 40)

Note: Once submitted, your application name can be changed only when your app is in an Editable State.

I thought the Name category was locked in that state …
but if that category is allowing you to enter a new name … it isn't following through … or, it isn't functioning correctly

perhaps you could contact iTunesConnect about this weird behavior …
still, IMO, one would have to create a new app in the new name so it can be registered in the name database.
