Hi all.
I've just acquire an ipad and this will be my first effort in publish the same app for IPAD and IPHONE and i want to make sure i've got it down pat. am i right in saying that i simply create my app as IPAD version and publish it out in GS as IPAD version and simply upload that binary to apple which will then build out to IPAD and IPHONE in my itunes connect???

is that how it goes or do i need to seperate build in GS and 2 APPS seperate in ITC.

Cheers

    This is how it works. iPhone apps can be used on iPads but iPad sized apps can't be used on iPhone. The iPhone version will display on an iPad in it's small size. For full screen iPad app you must have a second app designed for iPad. There are different ways to resize a project up an down. I use project resizer and scale my iPad version down to iPhone and then go in and adjust any x&y stuff as it's different.

    you can easily make your iPhone app into an iPad …

    all the iPhone apps I have used work very well on my iPads

    IMO you should make separate editions … one for each device … then your app will show twice in a search by user;
    then your app will be available if user selects only iPad apps for view in AppStore.
