Game attributes in tables?

I am working with DBA's Zelda Template. Without giving away too much, the textbox is just a display text with different rules for different characters. Because it is using display text, game attributes (like the player's name) can be used. I am trying to convert it all to tables. I do not know if it is possible to include game attributes like the players name in the text. In display text, one could type "Hello"..game.Name. Is it possible to do something similar in Tables?
