    thanks MotherHoose! much appreciated. what i would love to do is see if there is a better way to do the game..

    i feel like the performance is not as good as it should be.. i made efforts to auto adjust the quality for slower devices (no fog / footsteps for 3gs for example).. but yea i just feel like on slower devices it "jumps" too much when touching the screen.. and it just doesn't seem like it should be that taxing.

    The way I have it now is to have a random spawner spawn logs at the top, those logs move at a given speed (changes over time) and then when one of these moving logs is touched i do a change graphic. Then there is various stuff on top of that like footprints and invisible critical hit box. Still what it seems like is regardless of the various additional things.. at the core, the idea of touching a moving object seems to be choking..

    I just wonder if there is a way to perhaps have the touch coordinates just check values of where objects are perhaps? rather than doing touch events.. anyone have any advice?
