Apple's being extremely picky (I'm getting really angry)

I recently submitted an app that had "bird dropping" in the title. They told me to change the title because it didn't adhere to the rule that all titles must be appropriate for "4+". I changed the name and now since I have bird droppings ONCE in the description I got rejected again. There are games on the app store that have pictures of poop on the icon and in the title but my app is rejected because it "implies feces". WTF? There are WAY more inappropriate apps that get accepted. Is there something I'm doing wrong? I'm so confused...

Its just the luck of the draw which employee happens to review your app and how by the book they want to be.

Actually it looks like "Bird Drop" is not appropriate either. Seriously I don't know what to do because I've heard the appeals take forever.

How long do you guys think it would take the review board to go over it? And would I have a chance of succeeding?

oh, dear, I would seriously fight this one … this rejection is ridiculous!

as 4 year olds tend to be more focused on pictures than words … and apps have icons with people shooting people
some apps have 'Kill all the enemies' in the description! and Kill is a very nasty 4-letter word!

how can you more nicely say bird sheet except bird droppings?

people used to be more real …

fight for all of us …T8T!

I think I'm gonna fight it. I have another app coming out in the next few days so I have other things to worry about.

But seriously this guy was an asshole. He responds at MOST once a day to my questions. He's overly picky and took 3 days to reject "Bird Drop" after I had changed it to that when "Bird Droppings" got rejected. All I did was resubmit Metadata. It should have taken three seconds.

Does anyone know if you can file a complaint against a reviewer? I know I'll be sending it to the appeal board but someone needs to talk to this guy or he'll just pull this crap on other developers as well.

I feel for you. We got rejected simply for having 'fart' in the keywords (it was legitimate to use based on the app but they hate the fart word).

I was able to negotiate my way through by removing the offensive word and describing the app differently. I did argue my point politely and they approved the app. I would not advise getting shitty with them you do not want a bad rep with the reviewers!

You'd probably get way with it my reviewer's just a jackass I think.

@LycetteBros I'm going to try that. But the reviewer literally takes at least 24 hours to respond so I can't really have a "conversation".
