Difference in android stores?

I will be publishing to android for the first time this week. When I publish it to the android market, will it be available on amazon and google chrome, or are those two different app stores by themselves?

I'm an apple guy, so sorry if this is a dumb question. I pay no attention to android and it all kind of confuses me.

GS will save 2 files when you publish to Android, a "filename.apk" and "unsigned_filename.apk". The first goes to Market and the second goes to Amazon.
My advice is to start paying some attention to Android if you are serious about it - there are changes etc. to SDKs and licensing etc. that will require attention at some point.

probably not relevant to us because ultimately GS determine when they'll catch up to those changes, as far as publishing, most people have poor result on android market.

I think building a brand around an App can mean being on Android even if sales are average. I want to have my app space protected on Android to some degree.
Actually I am starting to get sales on Amazon that make it worth my while being there. I am playing for the long term.

You are right we are held by GS and their decisions but the more you understand about the Android space the easier it is to adapt or be ready for changes that make it worthwhile. As I said Amazon is proving a worthwhile market for me.
