Android Market file size limit

am I reading this right? There isa 50mb file size limit to upload your apk's to the android market? I just tried to upload a long way home, but it rejected me saying it was over 50mb.

what the heck? Amazon does not have this limit as far as I can tell.

    Im not sure about Android Market but I know Barnes & Noble lists a 50MB Limit

    Yes, both Android Marketplace and Nook Apps have an app size limit of 50MB. Amazon does not have the size limit.

    On Android, some devs are able to have you download a portion of the app from the marketplace, and then download the rest of the content from their servers, thus bypassing the limit. Not sure if it is possible on the Nook, and either way it is not currently possible through GS.
