please help, white screen bug.

Hey guys, I have just got feedback on my app from the review team, they cant publish the app because it has a white screen which can apparently be mistaken for the app not functioning as the actual game takes a few seconds to load. It happens on an iPhone 4 running IOS 5.0.1. How can I fix this? Its the reason my app has been rejected twice. Please Help!

It sounds like your First Scene is trying to load to much. Try adding a very light splashscreen that auto changes to your first scene after a second or two

1. make a very barren 1st scene … maybe just the title and bg … then change to your realScene
2. uncheck most of the Preload Art on the actors (so device doesn't have to load all the game's images at start)
