Android touch quirk

I'm venturing for the first time into Android publishing, and unfortunately, already found something I can't explain.

I have the viewer up and running, and can successfully test my game on the viewer. However, it seems all the "touches" are to the left of where they should be. So, I have a button on screen that works in creator/ios. On my Kindle Fire, I actually have to press about 50 pixels to the left of the button to make it work.

Anyone have similar issues?

make your button visible if it's not and make a actor that follows your "touch" / finger visible to see what's going on..

Are you using the Camera Trick stuff and using the iPhone version for this?

If so its likely how your adjusting the camera. There was a bug in 0.9.89 that caused touch issues with the camera resized on Android. It stems from the Post made earlier announcing they are closing the loophole where you could put a scene attribute in a prototype.

Hopefully that helps. I did experience this before but it was due to the camera being accessed in that way.

@Tenrdrmer Hm.. Yes to the camera trick. I don't have any custom behaviors, but I'll see if I can access the camera differently to see if it'll get different results. Was your issue with accessing the camera for in game mechanics, or for accessing it for resizing?

Just for resizing. You might wanna try resizing the camera manually in the scene attributes. There may be an issue in 0.9.89 all together with that resizing trick for android.

Manually resizing in scene attributes didn't work. But strangely, some buttons work, and others don't. Might be time to harass GS support.

Yeah and the kindle touch screen is not as good as the iPad. I was reading that it's a big complaint among users.

For ipad resize to iphone with camera trick it works better but nd to resize some smaller buttons to work properly. However ipad to kindle/nook the buttons are totally off by alot. So i hope this could be fixed soon in the next update :P somehow the resize camera does not coincide with the touch area of the buttons.
