Hey everyone!

I'm excited about this, i'm not great with doing art quickly. But I wanna give this a crack!
I think i'll call my game "Comet Drop" I've started it already. Started the art to. I'll share some soon.

The object of the game is TO BE THE COMMET.. You're falling towards Earth, Missiles and degree come at you and you must veer out of the way and try come down and destroy the earth!!! lol.

Lots of other cool things I have in mind for it but i'll keep it quiet for now.

- Backstory, if you hate being the bad guy or think it's stupid to control a comment. Let's say a Martian is doing it

I was going to have a thick Shadow at the bottom, but I want the comet to rotate etc, so I don't think it'd be good having the shadow move all over the place.

Thanks Jamie! yeah I pretty much have everything I want to do in my head lol. Done heaps more now to hahaha. My Art does suck though Tried this main menu and well... oh well lol.

There's a Score board on the bottom left to, but it only appears once the player starts getting points

I've even got a fire effect on the Comet, but i've turned it off for now, thinking I might use it once it hits the Earths Atmosphere.

Satellite... Gives bonus points if you smash it.

Was going to do an Astronaut feature, but the picture didn't turn out how I had hoped So Might give it as miss...

Also @Stormy - Please see this video for my questions about Art. I traced the Astronaut from a Google image, not exactly the same. But this is kinda what Graphics designers do anyway right? Just making sure it's not a rule breach if I do end up using it.

Just completed the Menu coding and am very happy with it!

Hope you still submit a game in the comp!

EDIT - Am I posting too much too soon? Some people are a bit secretive and I don't wanna go blowing all my secrets too soon :S lol.

phew, I was worried I would make a game a lot like yours. I read more and I realized ours are completely different. Yours looks really cool! I have to say, I know I wont win 1st, I just wanna be placed in something. Good Luck!

Looking good. I like the flames. I watched the first few videos and was hoping that you would put more in and you did. So now with more than just missiles to avoid it's getting better and better. Good work.

I've changed some art and added a Main Menu now, which is way better than that original horrible one I made up.
Has SFX to now, more than before I think....
This video ends a bit suddenly to, i'm at work and I got interrupted for work stuff lol xD
