Whats the best way to make music for my game?

so i want to be able to make my own music for my game but i don't know how. whats the best program (preferably free) to make music? and are their any recommended tutorials? if not or i end up lacking musical talent who would be the best person to hire?

I havn't had much experience with making music, but there is this website called http://incompetech.com/m/c/royalty-free/ that gives out great music commercial free. I've found it pretty useful in some of my other projects. Maybe you can find something there that will suit your game

If you have never made music before, starting off is going to be pretty hard imo. But check our :

Cubase
Logic
Propellerheads Reason

You would be better off trying to find some royalty-free/stock music sites and buying something that fits your game

Or hiring a musician to make a soundtrack for your game.

wow thanks everyone.
i listened to all your music sparkyidr and i really liked it! a lot of it was really cool. il try making my own music if that doesn't work ill probably look at the marketplace or hire someone :P
