Release Date Question
Hi guys, just wanted to clear up a few things about release date if possible.
1. My app was approved on 16th Dec. I set release date to 21 Dec (today). In itunes connect by the app it says release date 16th Dec. However, my app is now on itunes (when you search on your mac) - but it says release date 21 Dec by it. So which is correct? Just hope I haven't screwed myself on the release date as quite a few of us have.
2. My app doesn't seem to appear on the app store though when you search on your device, even when you search by direct name, is that because it takes time to go onto appstore (even when it's on itunes) ?
3. Also when everyone talks of the release date, is it the bit where you go into a category e.g. games -> family -> release date ?

When you can find your app in the mac app store with your link, then your app is in the app store. But if the app is in the mac app store it takes one or two days to find the app in the search bar with your tags. So wait just to thursday or friday

Oh well guess I'll make it free for a while and see if it does anything to raise visiblity. Funny thing is when you search by direct name Simple Life it doesn't even appear first or near the top, you have to show more, while other non related apps show up. I wonder what factors Apple uses for search rankings, besides keywords, maybe downloads?
Would still like to know no. 3 though :S
