"in review"

I've heard it takes about a week for apple to process your app, do they mean a week after you submit it or a week after its in review. I submitted my first app 3 days ago and it just changed from "waiting for review" to "in review". Does this mean my app should be on the app store soon or will it be about a week from now?

My 3 apps have been about the same. 1 week waiting for review, and no more than 3 hours in review. 1 update was in review over the weekend, but that's because they left for the weekend before finishing. Right now, they are busting ass to get reviews done, because from the 23 on, it will be a few days before any reviews are done.

If its in Review that means they are actually looking at it. once in Review it can be done in as little as an hour. However….I can also take days. It been my experience if you go into review over the weekend it will be monday at the earliest before its done. But theres really no way to know until they are done.

Usually a week I've heard, but I submitted my game last Thursday and it was approved on Sunday...

Maybe they're crunching due to the christmas rush but 3 days is crazy!

My app took 3 day "waiting for review" to less than a day "in review" and then it was at the App Store.

    Good luck to all

My app has just been changed to "Processing for the app store"! How long should this phase take? and can it still get rejected from here?

This shouldn't take long. Mine took about an hour and then changed to "Ready for Sale". So by late tonight it should be at the App Store.

    Good luck

Important thing to note: Once its ready for sale it usually takes a few more hours for it to be fully processed. For example, in order for your app to be listed on the first page of new releases in its category , it usually needs to have been ready for sale for a few hours. The first time i released an app I was very confused when I did not see my app listed under new releases right away. Good luck.

hrmm..... Thats interesting. I have never had an app go straight to new releases. I usually have to wait it out for a bit even after its ready for sale. Maybe next time it will be faster! Thanks for the info.

I had published my App before a week on 29th when Christmas holidays were over. Still the status is "Waiting For Review". How much time it would take to get it reviewed?
