Hey everyone.

On 7 November this year I discovered GameSalad. Wow. And now I have 2 apps on the appstore. Basically took just 4 weeks from discovery to distribution.

I don't code, but....
I try to do clever things with clever tools like GS, Joomla and After Effects. I love intuitive software and am so glad I found GameSalad.

I had a few ideas for apps, but only a few of them games. My firsts apps aren't the typical GS game. In fact they aren't games. More like activities. Yes they are activities aimed at kids, but plenty of adults have had fun tracing the outlines trying to get the elusive camera icon pop up so that they can complete the picture. I haven't seen anything like my Apps yet and believe it's a unique idea that I've come up with.

My paid App is the first Volume in what I hope to be a growing series. PenStar 01:Animal. And I have also released a free (cut down) version, PenStar ZERO. Links below.

PenStar 01:Animals
http://itunes.com/apps/penstar01animals

PenStar Zero
http://itunes.com/apps/penstarzero

Please try out the free version and if you like grab the first volume.

Here is a short promo I made for the Apps.

Hope the GS community like it and please comment.

@Doguz - Welcome! It's cool to see someone else who isn't just making games! I don't have an iPad yet but PenStar looks like fun :-)

I started with GameSalad back in June and I've been making silly little gag and useful apps for parents and kids alike (the holiday/Santa market has worked out GREAT for me!). Each app I build is becoming slightly more sophisticated... I do think I'd like to make a game or two, but I think I might try my hand at an ebook/interactive sort of story soon...

I know there are other "non game makers" out there, but I think we're in the minority. I think our marketing and development needs are sometimes a little different than the people making full "games"... Wonder if we need a separate forum... hmm...

All you do is move your finger around a sketch?

Yeah that's all you do. And once you try it, you'll HAVE to do all of them. Kids love it anyway.
