Can no longer add custom splash screen image? 0.988

Hi guys, I'm pro, so there's no reason why this can't work for me. Anyone experienced this with 0.988? Really need help right now. Anybody has any idea? I've sent an email to tech support, but hopefully some kind folks in here can advise me what to do.
I tried to select the file, but all greyed out. I tried to drag and drop the image file, gave me an error message "Please choose an image with size 1024 x 768"

Anybody?

it's now standard size, you probably have the older version with 20px crop
