Email from apple "Your app requires additional review time"

My app went into review and about 24 hours later I received an email from apple stating "the review process will require additional time" Then apologized for the day and pretty much left it at that.

Has this happened to anyone before and any idea on what the cause could be??

Any perticular reason as to why yours got rejected?
Just wondering so I can think to see if for any reason mine would get rejected. As far as I can think it follows guidlines and should have no reason for being rejected.

Also, any guess on how much additional time it will take before either rejected or accepted?

Hmm lol kinda have me worried now that mine will be rejected

not that it is sex themed or anything, but I do use sex appeal to try and sell the game. the icon does show off some cleavage. Its still not nudity, so hopefully that is not the reason...

Yea I put the mild cartoon violence, figured it was mild because of lack of blood and gore. Thats about all I put in when asked those questions. I didnt give it rating due to sexual themes or anything.

I think the rating it was given was 9+

Ive also heard of that happening when there checking to see if copyrighted material has been used and stuff like that. Your hud looks very similar to another sniper games hud so maybe thats why

Unfortunately the game is still in review... beginning to doubt it will be out before the store shuts down for holidays

Well, now that apple is back up and running lets hope my app gets approved sometime soon
