Whenever i drag a picture in gamesalad, it seems to change size. This isint because gamesalad needs to make it smaller cause it's to big btw. Im not sure if it has to do with the resolution of the picture, but it might. Does anyone know why this is happening?

    all your images have to be 72 dpi. Also make sure resolution independence is unchecked if your not using it

    @orbnoob

    "is dpi the same as pixles per inch?"

    Yes, people often confuse dpi with ppi, but you are right 'ppi' is correct for computer files (and dpi is correct for print media).

    If your files are not 72 ppi Gamesalad will import them at the wrong size.

    If you are using Photoshop, open the file, select image size > make sure 'Resample Image' is *not* checked and change the resolution to 72 pixel/inch -then hit save.

    like Tynan said yes its the same.

    You can also change the resolution with the built in preview thats on every mac by goign to change size and changing the resolution towards the bottom if yuo have a artist doing your work and dont have any image editing programs.
