Help with store app name HTML shortening please!

HI guys I have my game ABS.ORB now in the app store, but I seem to be having some problems with shortening the direct store html link: I have followed the guide in the iphone dev centre, but I can't get it to work!

Although my game is abs.orb it seems that the dot is removed or a dash added to the address.

ORIGINAL LONGNAME:
http://itunes.apple.com/app/abs-orb/id355333987?mt=8

DEVELOPER & APP
http://itunes.com/apps/jcford/absorb

THIS IS THE ONE THAT I CANNOT GET TO WORK (JUST THE APP)
http://itunes.com/apps/abs-orb

Any help.

Also will this generic address take the user to their own region itunes store, because when I try it, it seems to take me to the US store. What can I use to take it to their own store?

thanks guys

By default it takes the user to the US store, but it will open in iTunes in their local store.

You can insert a region code in the title to force the country:

    US:
    http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/squaresheep/id353525988?mt=8

    UK:
    http://itunes.apple.com/gb/app/squaresheep/id353525988?mt=8

I don't know about the short name, I use bit.ly with a custom name instead. Would that help?

when I typed itunes.com/apps/absorb it goes to a itunes page that shows your app and a few others including one called [absorb]. The rule seems to be that the direct link is your app name with punctuation removed. So your app and [absorb] would be the same which obviously can't be. That seems to be the problem, but I have no idea what the solution is.
