Rejected

Apple rejected my game twice for this reason, I do not know what they want. I don't want a web app. There is no money in web apps, that why I made it for iphone. Can someone help me deal with Apple? They are hard to deal with and provide little or no support. I would really appreciate help. Thanks.

"We found the user interface of your app is not of sufficient quality to be appropriate for the App Store. Apps that provide a poor user experience are not in compliance with the App Store Review Guidelines.

Please evaluate whether you can make the necessary revisions to improve the user experience of your app.

Alternatively, you may wish to consider building a web app using HTML5. HTML5 is the major new version of HTML and enables audio and video to play natively in the browser without requiring proprietary plug-ins. Using HTML5, web apps look and behave like native iPhone and iPad apps, and using HTML5's Offline Application Cache, your web apps work even when the device is offline. With web apps, you have flexibility to deliver as much or as little functionality as you desire.

If you wish to build an HTML5 web app, you can do so and distribute it directly from your web site. It is not appropriate to resubmit your app to the App Store.

To get started with iPhone or iPad web apps, please review Getting Started with iPhone Web Apps.

For a description of the HTML elements and attributes you can use in Safari on iPhone, check out Safari HTML Reference: Introduction."

"We found the user interface of your app is not of sufficient quality to be appropriate for the App Store"

This tells you EXACTLY why they are rejecting your app. In other words they don't think your app is good enough for the app store so are just telling you to release it on the web as that doesn't effect them.

Why don't you upload some screenshots, especially of the user interface so we can suggest what is wrong with it?

It is a nice concept, I think, you destroy Zunes or "Zunns" and Androids or "Drids" it is accelerometer based.

For the main menu screen I think you need to make it more obvious buttons. You don't need to make the text that big. You don't need to take up the entire space. Try and make the buttons look like buttons. Maybe put a square around them or something simple like that, or if you want fancy look at some of the top games made by GS. Study the graphics and try to create your own of that quality. But don't steal other peoples work :)

Ive used mono touch and now gamesalad. Had apps rejected a few times. I've found they are generally pretty fair, and it's usually something I've overlooked. They could be more specific. On my first gamesalad app, I did a shooter on iPad landscape but to be held as portrait. Rotation between portrait modes didn't work, obviously, and they absolutely insisted on the rotation. So, I'm rebuilding as a portrait game. No big deal, lesson learned. But the odd thing is that apple has never rejected my Mnotouch apps that are stuck in one rotation.

    Dear @Rjreptile1,
I know being rejected from apples ITC is very frustrating, its happened to ALL of us. you need to calm down and focus on the main objects,
What your having is a small problem, it just means "Change your GUI (Graphical user interface) and the functionality of your GUI, if you are having trouble doing this i would suggest one of TSB's Menu templates: http://gshelper.com/?p=4
Let me know if this worked out for ya ;),
Need any more help, be sure to contact me on thermoapps@gmail.com ,
    Your sincerely,

hate to say it, but they want you to improve the quality of your app, redo all your graphics before you resubmit. make sure you design your graphics based on the actors size, don't resize an image to fit an actor.

I am working to fix the graphics. I sent them [apple] an email about the rejection and then last night they approved it and now it's in the app store. I appreciate all of the comments, and I am making a new version with better graphics, and better gameplay. Thanks again.
